Tom says----There IS a consensus of the need for a public option amongst most medical professionals. (And by the way, Medicare is a form of "public option." Where would seniors be without it. Well, Tom....We are about to find out in 2017, when Medicare goes belly up (CBO estimate).

Tim, Do what I did recently. Load up on mutual funds weighted heavily with gold and energy stocks, and buy inflation adjusted treasuries, and hope tp survive an Obama-dominated economy.

My understanding is that the actual voting on this award took place only 11 days after Barack took the oath of office, but was not announced until now.

The only Olympics in recent times that was not a big time money-loser was the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics. Sorry to disillusion you.
